Today we spent the afternoon harvesting mesquite beans for making flour, it takes a 5 gallon bucket full to make 1 pound of flour.
Our garden is doing well, everything is coming up that we planted from seed.

Rain and Rabbits!
We had a good rain here, the garden loved it, grasses are coming up everywhere out here it is getting so green around here.
We even have tomatoe worms out here, the chickens and turkeys love them.
This is our pair of New Zealand rabbits, we will have plenty of meat from there off spring and will have some to sell also, Got to finish up the hutch and rabbit area.
This is our new goat house, i will close it in for the winter but its open right now because its hot. The goats like it :)

New Things
We had a good 4th of July, been busy putting up the wind generator caring for our new goats and getting followed around by a tarantula lol. We are getting closer to being self sufficient. Our goats are alpine dairy goats, they are still babies born in march. The tarantula's here are pretty nosey.
